It is almost beyond imagination to think of what it would be like to be called by your husband to sell everything and move to another state, wait for him to return from war, and then learn he is missing in action and have to wait nearly 3 years for him to return. How would you handle that? Our special Mother’s Day guest is Miss Wanda Elliot. Art and Wanda Elliot live in Colorado Springs, CO whom Christie and I have known for about 25 years. Miss Wanda and her husband Art are true saints who have paid the price to have a tender understanding of Father few will ever know.

Dr. Klein is professor of New Testament and chairs the division of biblical studies. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, Society of Biblical Literature, Institute for Biblical Research, and Tyndale Fellowship for Biblical Research.

Dr. Scott Wenig joined Denver Seminary in 1994 and serves as associate professor of applied theology, teaching in the areas of homiletics, church history, and pastoral ministry. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, an M.Div. from Denver Seminary, and a B.S. from the University of Colorado at Denver. Dr. Wenig was on the pastoral staff of Bear Valley Church in Colorado for 16 years; the pastoral staff of Centennial Community Church, also in Colorado, for eight years; and served as the senior teaching pastor of Aspen Grove Community Church in Colorado for five years.

Peggy is a Christian clinical therapist with a private practice here in Castle Rock. She has been a professor of psychology and for the Masters in Counseling Program at Colorado Christian University for 13 years. Peggy has conducted numerous retreats, seminars and conferences over the last 30 years and has written and led Bible studies for groups ranging in size from 15 to 400 women. We are honored to have Peggy at Castle Rock Bible Church.
